March 2026 Update
Committee updates:
Dr Claire Mclean stepped down from the LMC as sessional rep and LMC Medical Director (formerly Secretary, title changed to be in line with other Scottish LMC’s). We are very grateful for all her work in both roles and would like to extend our gratitude.
Following recent recruitment, we are very pleased to have Dr Gillian Montgomerie and Dr Victoria Stewart join as reps and Dr Stephanie King as Sessional rep.

BMA & Scottish Government updates:
SGPC chair Dr Morrison’s recent blog outlines the confirmation of workforce funding and non-staff expenses over the next 3 years.
There has been recent confirmation of the CVD DES for 2026, sign up will be by the end of April with details coming out from P&CS.
